An instrument inherited from his grandfather, a rural musician from Vilnius, and used for recordings as part of a 2020 scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Thanks to the grant, I was able to dedicate myself to working on the musician's family history and his recycled instrument, built from a slab of a post-German piano. The uniqueness of the sound of this particular instrument pushes it to be used in a very wide range of forms, not only in traditional repertoire, but also in songs or extreme ambient sound illustrations.
